I remember when I got married and my wife and I went on honeymoon. As great as it was we couldn’t wait to get back and see our wedding photographs. So much so that my in laws who were picking us up from the airport brought the photographs with them so we could see them such was our enthusiasm. This same enthusiasm is what I want to share with you on your wedding day and it’s a day that goes all too quickly. It’s the most important day of your life, full of memories that you will want to cherish for years to come. A general misconception is that your wedding is all about the bride and not the groom. This is obviously not the case, after all without the two of you there wouldn’t be a wedding. So besides spending time with the bride on her big day, as a Wakefield Wedding Photographer we also spend plenty of time with the groom on his big day. From the initial bridal preparations, photographs of flowers, shoes, perfume and the organized chaos of getting ready to meeting the groom and groomsmen for some informal photographs before the ceremony. The bride arrives and we then move into the ceremony ensuring we capture all the emotion – the grooms first view of the bride in her dress, exchanging of vows, the rings, the first kiss and all the small glances, smiles and squeezes of the hand in between.

Most couples would like some group and formal photographs and following your ceremony we work these into your day. We have a special way of working in regards to the group and formal photographs to try and keep the time your guests are waiting for their photograph to be taken to a minimum.
